Kevin Rose have just announced today the official Digg for iPhone. The interface is based on iUI work of Joe Hewitt and Kris Tate in addition to jQuery. Features include :

• Native iPhone-like story scrolling
• Mini permalink pages with top 5 comments
• Login and Digging
• Pagination
• Jump to any topic

Based on Joe Hewitt’s iPhone navigation work, iUI project was launched to provide a complete User interface solution to develop web applications for iPhone. Aims of iUI is to :

• Create Navigational Menus from JSON objects
• Build the nav headers and as much of the UI with the canvas tag (JS is sllowww on MobileSafari).
• Events for phone rotation
• Provide a more “iPhone-like” experience to Web apps (on or off the iPhone)

ContentRobot created iwPhone, an excellent wordpress plugin which allow to make your blog’s content optimized for iPhone. I have installed iwPhone on AJAX4iPhone as you can see it in the Screenshot below. The plugin is still in beta, but it’s already working fine. I just have to test it with wp-cache because it’s usually create few problems to show cached page instead of the optimized page.
